Siendo una empresa que nació para la exportación de ceras de abeja y de Candelilla, actualmente maneja un portafolio integrado por más de 60 productos distintos, los cuales se comercializan en más de 20 sectores de mercado, tanto en México como en el extranjero.
Multiceras mantiene una vocación fuertemente exportadora, obteniendo actualmente el 40% de sus ingresos a través de sus ventas de exportación, las cuales se realizan por todas las regiones del planeta.
El desarrollo tecnológico ha sido una de las piedras angulares para el crecimiento de la empresa. Multiceras cuenta con una sólida infraestructura en investigación y desarrollo y prepara en forma continua a su capital humano para enfrentar los crecientes retos de la globalización.

OUR
HISTORY
Multiceras was founded in 1978 under the name Baldini, with the original goal of exporting beeswax and candelilla wax to the United States. The need for higher purity in these products and the demand for a wide range of wax products in Mexico fueled our expansion and the creation of the Multiceras corporate entity.
Due to the expansion of company operations, in 1989 we restructured the business into two separate units: Multiceras, dedicated to the manufacture and commercialization of wax products, and Multiquim, dedicated to the import and distribution of chemical products for the cosmetic, pharmaceutical and food industries. Multiquim was established in Mexico City and operated successfully until 2002, when it was sold to Noveon, Inc.
Multiceras has always been committed to quality, as evidenced by our certification by and rigorous application of the ISO 9001 standard for all critical processes of the company. Our most recent certification of our quality system was in 2018, which has been maintained through periodic audits.
For strategic reasons, in 2000, we separated our toilet wax ring division to create an independent business unit called Aztec Plumbing. This company serves the plumbing industry with a diverse product line and a strong focus on the US market.
In 2004 Multiceras founded the Candelilla Institute to improve the candelilla wax value chain. We have also established a strategic alliance with Walker Industries to expand our opportunities for the production and commercialization of wax emulsions in Mexico and Central America.

Aztec Plumbing is created to serve the international market for plumbing products. Multiquim is sold to Noveon. ISO-9001 certification is obtained.
Alliance and Globalization
Strategic alliance with Walker Industries and start of commercialization in Asia and Europe.
Expansion
Industrial land is acquired at the Las Americas plant (4 hectares). Multiceras adheres to the Global Compact and obtains the distinction of Socially Responsible Company from CEMEFI.
