Paraffin waxes are straight-chain hydrocarbons (N-paraffins) derived from petroleum that present in a solid state at room temperature.
CHARACTERISTICS
- Add combustible property to candles
- Add water repellency
- Typically white in color
- When cut, they are powdery and hard
